H. F. March is best known for becoming in 1997 the first and only woman to climb Everest carrying an electric piano, previous attempts in 1992 and 1993 having failed. She is also notable for the three years she spent in the late 80's assaying the title role of "Lucy" on the celebrated Canadian sitcom "Lucy Can't Lose It."As a musician, she has released several moderately-successful records, including "The Summit Summit: Jazz Party Atop Everest, " "Demon-Haunted Wurlitzer, " and "Sherpa Love Songs." When she isn't at home relaxing with her three prize Pomeranians, she can be found volunteering at the local rec center teaching baccarat to inner-city youth.
