Résumé

The pulse of modern Tokyo beats with the relentless energy of innovation and ambition, a gleaming testament to human ingenuity. But beneath its dazzling surface, an ancient horror stirs, a being so utterly alien that its emergence shatters the fragile illusion of control. It begins subtly: tremors that intensify beyond tectonic shifts, strange distortions in the skyline, and a pervasive, chilling hum that vibrates through the very bones of the city.
Then, the terror materializes. It is called Senonnori. Not merely colossal, but unnatural. Its form defies conventional biology, a shifting mosaic of obsidian scales, tendrils of living shadow, and crystalline structures that refract light in impossible ways. Its eyes, if they can be called that, glow with an ancient, malevolent light that seems to drain the color from the world. With each earth-shattering step, Senonnorri doesn't just destroy buildings; it unmakes them.
Skyscrapers buckle like wet paper, concrete melts into slag, and steel girders twist into impossible, organic shapes, as if consumed by an otherworldly force that absorbs their very essence. The monster's roar isn't just sound; it's a psychic tearing, inducing primal fear and disorienting madness in all who hear it. As Tokyo descends into chaos, the Japanese Self-Defense Forces (JSDF) mobilize, throwing everything they have at the encroaching nightmare.
Tanks are crushed like toys, fighter jets vanish in bursts of ethereal energy, and their most advanced weaponry proves useless, merely stimulating Senonnorri into greater, more destructive spasms. The world watches in horror, paralyzed by the sheer incomprehensibility of the threat. Leading the desperate scientific efforts is Kenji, a brilliant but disgraced xenolinguist whose obscure theories on "hyper-dimensional resonance" suddenly become horrifyingly relevant.
Alongside him is Commander Tanaka, a pragmatic and unyielding JSDF officer, haunted by the escalating casualties, who must balance the rigid protocols of military defense with the unthinkable reality of an enemy that defies all logic. Their path crosses with Ito, a disillusioned photojournalist who, armed only with her camera and an unwavering will to document the truth, provides a raw, human perspective of the unfolding cataclysm, capturing both the terror and the unexpected acts of courage in the civilian populace.
The climax culminates in a desperate last stand within the ruins of what was once the Imperial Palace, a site of immense historical and spiritual significance that Senonnori seems intent on utterly devouring. As Arisato and his team race against time, Commander Tanaka leads a final, suicidal diversionary attack, while Mika captures the harrowing, awe-inspiring, and ultimately hopeful moments of humanity's fight against the incomprehensible.
Senonnori: The Obsidian Scourge is more than just a creature feature. It is a profound exploration of humanity's resilience in the face of absolute terror, the collision of ancient myth and bleeding-edge science, and a chilling meditation on what happens when the very fabric of our reality begins to unravel, leaving societies scarred but forever changed by the encounter with a true, cosmic horror.
The battle for Tokyo may conclude, but the question of Senonnori's true origin, and its potential return, forever hangs heavy in the air.
