Auf einem einsamen Hof lebt Tom mit seiner Mutter, dem Baby und ihrem neuen Mann. Jeder Tag ist gleich. Jeden Tag muss das Holz vor dem Haus gehackt werden. Tom spricht mit Julie - nur noch mit Julie.
Von ihr will er wissen, was passiert ist. Alles andere nimmt Tom nicht mehr wahr. Sein Leben und die Welt ziehen lautlos, wie in Zeitlupe an ihm vorbei. Als Teil der deutschen Delegation wurden die Autorin und ihr Stück 2005 zum internationalen World Interplay - Festival of Young Playwrights nach Townsville, Australien, eingeladen. Das Goethe-Institut Sydney finanzierte die Übersetzung ins Englische, die Dr. Marlene J. Norst vornahm.
