Rockhopper penguin keeping - the rocky road to success
This short book provides all penguin-lovers with deep insights into the experience we gained in Rockhopper penguin keeping at Schönbrunn Zoo. Captive breeding is no easy task when dealing with these birds. This report presents the advances we have made over the past 35 years and highlights the needs of our penguins, natural breeding and brooding, as well as hand-raising.
