Résumé
10-year-old Robbie feels anxious ALL the time. He has no home, no friends, and no hope. Living his lonely life, he meets a dog called Jess. But Jess is no ordinary dog. She has magical skills that could guide him to discover his superpowers and turn his life around. But will he have the courage to trust Jess?"Oh my goodness. This is the best book I've read in ages. I actually cried at the end because of what Jess had done for Robbie.
How can a book be this good?" Ava (age 11)"I love it. A wonderful book, a true treasure.""I have just finished reading 'Robbie and Jess'. This book is absolutely beautiful.""I enjoyed the story. Jess was the best character by far, but I do love dogs. I felt sorry for the boy, but things got better for him with his new family." Mick, aged 10"I did like the story and how Jess helped the boy." Sarah, aged 12"A sweet story, excellent for children having problems, say, at school.
There's a lot to discuss in the text, so it's perfect as a tool in a classroom." Anon"I think the book would be good for kids who find it difficult to control anger." Anon, aged 12"I suspect this would be an excellent tool/resource for a school." Anon 'A sweetly written story of a dog who helps a boy to turn his life around.'
