I have two great passions in my life, history and writing, which is an irony, considering that I'm also dyslexic.
I was educated at an Inner London state high school and graduated with above average grades in English, English Lit and History.
I grew in South East London, the son of a truck driver and a bookkeeper.
I lived for four years in France and travelled extensively throughout Europe.
