Résumé
Mars is suffocating. With the atmosphere failing and the oxygen fields of the Hellas Crater turning black, humanity's time on Mars is running out. The only remaining gamble for survival lies where it all began: Earth. Doran, an elite anthropologist carrying the weight of his family's lost history, is selected for the 23rd Expedition. Alongside a specialized crew, he descends through the suffocating, toxic amber clouds of the planet their ancestors abandoned generations ago.
Their mission is clear: penetrate the crust and survey a massive, geometric anomaly buried deep beneath the surface. But the ruins are not as empty-or as dead-as the data suggested. Within the deep, damp silence of a long-buried megalopolis, the team discovers a haunting, pale secret with life of its own. As the expedition descends further into the dark, the mission spirals from a desperate search for salvation into a fight for their very minds.
Something is waiting in the ruins. And as the line between scientist and specimen begins to blur, Doran must uncover the horrifying truth of what survived -before the Earth claims them, too. Some doors, once opened, can never be closed.
