Travis Pendleton was the sole survivor of the Rumbarr gang's vicious ambush on his family. The infamous outlaw gang massacred his entire family and burned their house down. In doing so, they thought they were in the clear from Joseph Pendleton, Travis's father, and a dedicated Texas Ranger who was tracking them down. They murdered Joe Pendleton and his entire family, but they didn't reckon on Travis surviving.
Now, Travis has fully recovered from his wounds. He's also been trained by Sheriff Hall to learn how to shoot a gun, ride a horse, and track a man down. Travis easily took to what the sheriff taught him, driven by his desire to avenge his family. Under his new identity of Seth Barlow, Travis tracks down the Rumbarr gang to the town of Willow's Peak. He gets information that the gang is active in the town, and he quickly rides there to see if he can get the revenge he desperately seeks.
