Svenja had married her husband-a successful self-made businessman-far too early and far too young. When she then loses her own job as well, she becomes desperate in the loneliness of her large house, where she has nothing to do since her husband is once again away on a business trip for weeks on end. After a few glasses of wine, boredom drives her into a chat room, where she meets Peter, who fascinates her from the very first moment.
Peter invites her to play a game, an adventure in which he repeatedly presents her with thrilling challenges that gradually restore meaning to her life. He skillfully influences and manipulates Svenja's life from a distance, gradually taking more and more control over her.
