Die Festschrift anlässlich des 60. Geburtstages von Jan Hermelink (19. Juni 2018) nimmt den kirchentheoretischen Ansatz des Jubilars würdigend auf und führt ihn in kritisch-produktiver Weise fort. Dazu werden zum einen kirchentheoretische Grundbegriffe theoriegeleitet vertieft. Zum anderen greifen die Beiträge den kirchentheoretischen Ansatz auf und beziehen ihn auf ein praktisch-theologisches bzw.
kirchliches Handlungsfeld. Dieses Ineinander von theoriegeleiteten Hauptbeiträgen und weiteren anwendungsbezogenen Artikeln spiegelt wiederum die gegenseitige Bezogenheit von Forschung, Lehre und (kirchlicher) Praxis wider, wie sie dem praktisch-theologischen Grundverständnis Jan Hermelinks entspricht. Entsprechende Relevanz erhält der Band sowohl für die praktisch-theologische Wissenschaft als auch für die kirchliche Praxis. Contributions to Church Theory] The commemorative publication on the occasion of the 60th birthday of Jan Hermelink (19 June 2018) recognizes and appreciates the church theoretical approach of the jubilarian by carrying it on in a critical and productive manner. It does so by deepening church theoretical concepts. Furthermore, the contributions take up the church theoretical approach, relating it to a practical-theological or ecclesial field of action.
This combination of theory-oriented main contributions and practice-oriented articles reflects the mutual relationship of research, teaching and (ecclesial) practice, in accordance with Jan Hermelink's basic practical-theological understanding. In that way the volume becomes relevant both for practical-theological science and for ecclesial practice.
