Raquel´s dream

The young woman couldn't help but doze off for a few minutes; exhaustion ran through every muscle and bone in her body, slowly overcoming her. During the brief time the sleep lasted, she found herself in a sunnier place, with a kinder climate. She saw herself surrounded by flowers that shared their fragrances with her. The touch of the petals felt so real, the scent so intimate and comforting. It was the ideal place to live, far from soldiers, crises, weapons, and that feeling of emptiness that sometimes took hold of her.
There was also that light she had seen in the first dream, and here too it permeated everything, just like the floral aroma that soaked into every molecule.
