Résumé

What do you pray when words are hard to find? The Psalms as Prayers offers simple, heartfelt prayers inspired by the themes of the Psalms. Each prayer captures the honesty, hope, and trust that have drawn generations of people to these ancient songs of faith. These prayers speak to everyday life-fear, gratitude, waiting, conflict, healing, joy, and worship. Written in natural language, they help turn the truths of Scripture into personal conversations with God.
Wherever you are in your journey, these prayers remind you that God hears every honest word.
About the Author  E. J. Rohly grew up on a farm in rural Ohio, where her imagination had plenty of room to run wild. As a kid, she loved making up stories-especially when she babysat and could share her tales with the kids she watched. Sometimes, she even let them produce their own endings! Making up stories is still one of her favorite things to do.  Esther went to school to learn more about teaching kids, and she became a preschool teacher, where she has spent years creating fun ways for little ones to learn and grow.
As her family grew, she took literature classes to get better at writing, hoping to author her own books. Now, she is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and continues to learn new things through writing classes. Today, she is busy writing mysteries and adventures to spark imagination, just like her own love of stories sparked years ago on her family's farm.
