GeminiOne of the best things that ever happened to me was meeting several of the KOAMC members at a time when some of their men needed a helping hand. Because after the worst thing happened to me and my cousins, we found ourselves at loose ends and unsure where to go or what to do. So, when Big Daddy, the National president, reached out and asked if we'd be willing to try and rebuild the Montana chapter, the four of us voted to do it, unaware of the challenges we were going to face.
However, with some help from our newfound brothers, as well as the grit and gumption we were raised with, we soon become proud of what we've begun to build. Yet, old enemies the former president had, try to recover what he stole, putting the club, as well as their town in danger. Not to mention, the woman I've always had a fondness for who is, inexplicably, now living where I am once again. Since the Fates obviously intervened, I promise nothing and no one will ever hurt her as long as I'm around.
SuttonGrowing up, I was the ugly duckling, the square peg trying to fit into the round hole-unloved, unwanted, bullied. But, in college, I reinvented myself and vowed that the challenges I faced would help mold who I was going to be when I was 'all grown up'. A wonderful position opens up in Montana, and I take it, ready to embrace life and all it entails, confident that I've matured enough to handle anything thrown my way.
Until part of my past that wasn't that bad, just unattainable, is talking about me as I walk into a local eatery with my self-professed best friend. While I am happy to see his cousins because they were always friendly to me and helped keep the bullying at bay, I am worried that Gemini's attention is more of a nod to our past than him actually wanting me.
