Abigail Carey has been abducted, although she's struggling to understand if that's a blessing or a curse, given the circumstances surrounding her departure from her mother's party. No one knows why, though it might be something to do with the Blood Surge they endured for his survival. As Ronan aids her search for answers, she finds herself more and more drawn to him, but determined not to be - she loves Jacque with all her heart.
