Alpha finds itself looking into a set of disappearances, leading to the discovery of mysterious lizard-like aliens with advanced weapons. AEGIS corporation already knew the invasion was coming and were preparing. John is then assigned to the heavy mechanized infantry project. Using his installed synaptic link and his paired AI to control a massive, armoured combat suit.
The project finishes just in time, and John and his family find themselves caught Crosshairs. His wife is safe, but his daughter is missing.
