Résumé

There's chaos in the poodle parlour and a new hairstyle is on the loose in this red Early Reader story from KATE GREENAWAY MEDAL-shortlisted author, Angela McAllister. Early Readers are stepping stones from picture books to reading books perfect for building confidence in new readers and reluctant readers. A blue Early Reader is perfect for sharing and reading together. A red Early Reader is the next step on your reading journey.
Mimi loves helping out at the Pretty Poodle parlour, so when Madame Shampoodle leaves her niece, Florence, and Mimi in charge for the day, the girls can't wait to have the salon all to themselves. But with demanding customers like the Wriggly pups and Truffle Truelove to deal with, can they make everyone happy without having any hair scares or doggy disasters?

À propos des auteurs

Angela has written over forty books for children. These include young fiction and poetry as well as picture books. After working abroad as a nanny she trained in illustration but realised she was much happier producing words than pictures. Angela enjoys collaborating with other illustrators on her picture books - her inspiration coming from two boisterous children. She lives with them and her husband on a farm (her husband keeps horses) in the South West of England.
Angela McAllister is an award-winning author of over sixty books for children and young teens. She lives in Hampshire. Diane Ewen is British illustrator, born in Walsall, in the West Midlands. She is winner of the Jericho Prize and the Queen's Knickers Awards, 2021. She has always been in love with art and graduated from the University of Wolverhampton with a B. A. Honours Degree in illustration.
Diane likes to create illustrations that are hand-drawn in pencil before painting in watercolour and acrylics prior to embellishing them using Photoshop, but she also enjoys working directly on the computer screen creating her designs.
