Résumé

The articles in this book were written during the years from 2012 to 2015 as response to various news appeared in media. They were first published in media including The Economist, New York Times, Washington Post, Times of India and a few others and also in social media including Face Book and Google Plus. Most of these articles and notes concern the political and social life in India, Kerala and the World and are relevant to political and social researchers as well as to general readers.
They are now published as Political Comments On India, Kerala, and the World, in parts, separately. They are records of a citizen's responses to bad things as well as good things happened during that period.   All articles have been slightly edited or totally recast for the purpose of including in this book. So, they are not now essentially in the original form in which they were first published. In most, a few words or phrases have been added, or a few removed.
In a few the dates of their writing and first publishing have been added but they needn't necessarily mean those incidents happened on those exact dates or weeks. I hope most of the important events happened during the period in India have been included in this selection. I also hope my readers will give this book the same consideration they gave to my other books.
