Jake remained pressed against her, his body heavy and still shuddering with the last tremors of his release. His breath was ragged against her back, and his heart hammered against her spine. Judy felt his weight, comforting and solid, as he slowly regained his composure. The intense, raw energy that had pulsed between them moments before began to soften into a warm, shared afterglow.
