Résumé

The exciting and heartbreaking sequel to "Penelope the Strange". Book two in the Penelope TrilogyPenelope went through a hole in reality trying to find her missing father. Now she is trapped in a world that has been conquered by the mysterious Shadows, creatures older than time who feed on emotion. As she continues her search for her dad, Penelope must learn to how to survive and come to terms with the powers that she has never wanted or understood.
At every turn, she is faced with new challenges standing between her and saving her family and friends. In order to save her father find her way back home, she will have to sacrifice nearly everything that makes her special. Penelope knows that she can't turn back, can't give up. The only question is how much will it cost her before it is all over.
Thanks for checking out my books! I have been writing for most of my life but have only recently become brave (or foolish) enough to start sharing my words with other adults. As I am a teacher, most of my writing is targeted at children or young adults since they are the only audience I truly "understand", if anyone can truly understand children that is. I like to write stories that incorporate supernatural elements while also keeping the characters grounded in real life problems such as identity and growing up.
My book Penelope the Strange is just as much about coping with who you really are as it is about a girl on a quest to find her lost father. I hope you will stick with me as I grow as a writer. I can't promise it will be perfect, but it will definitely be interesting.
