'Pebbles Slouchy' is a loose hat with a beautiful bumpy texture and a variety of techniques which makes it unique. The use of 2 yarn colors makes the design pop! The combination of moss stitch and slip stitches gives it a perfect raised texture of bumpy pebbles. However, these pebbles are oh so soft to touch and to wear. This is quite a versatile hat. It can be both a summer or a winter hat depending on the yarn you use for making it.
The hat fits loosely over the head like a slouchy hat. The photo tutorial shows how to make it into a beanie style. This pattern comes with a step-by-step picture tutorial and a detailed explanation of all steps included in the pattern. Skill Level: IntermediateSuggested Yarns: Lion Brand Jiffy Solid(100% Acrylic; 135 yds[123 m]/3 oz [85 g]; CYCA #5): #105 Pastel Blue(A), #187 Gold(B), 1 skein each.
I Used: You will need about 110 yds of Bulky weight / 12 ply ( 7 wpi) yarn in each color for the beanie.
