Revenue à ses chers vampires avec Lestat, le vampire et La Reine des damnés, elle se consacre bientôt à "La Saga des sorcières de Mayfair", avec Le Lien maléfique, L'Heure des sorcières et Taltos. Parmi les dix tomes constituant "Les Chroniques des vampires", trois réunissent les personnages des deux séries : Merrick, Le Domaine Blackwood et Le Cantique sanglant.
