Résumé
A town she couldn't find on any map... a love she never planned for. After her husband's sudden death, Annie Davidson packs up her grieving son and drives away from the life she knew-anywhere but here. What she finds instead is Brandiss: a tiny town so far off the map it might not officially exist, and a fresh start neither of them knew they needed. What she doesn't expect is Prescott Beemiller. Charming, devoted, carrying grief of his own-his wife and young son vanished three years ago, and he's spent every day since not knowing if they're alive or gone forever. Two people who've lost everything start, carefully, to build something new.
But just as Annie and Prescott begin to imagine a future together, the past that haunts him resurfaces-and threatens to undo it all before it's even begun. Sometimes the family you're meant to have isn't the one you started with. Sometimes you have to get lost to find exactly where you belong.
