Pandemic. Telework. Remote School. CHAOS! In March 2020, COVID-19 became a household name-and the world as we knew it was changed forever. It was clear this latest surprise wasn't going away anytime soon, and as lockdowns were imposed, we could feel the stress levels rising all around us. Over the years, I've found that writing humor helped me relieve stress and gave people a chuckle. However, it was never more than a few Facebook posts.
I figured this would be the perfect time to document a historical time through our eyes, and again give people a laugh. For two and a half months, I wrote daily Facebook posts and laid it all out. Completely vulnerable, spiced with witty humor, the Pandemic Parodies was born. With a few nudges and requests from friends and family, and assistance from our daughter, the posts turned into this book. If you laugh once, we were successful in our mission.
