I wrote this book not just to document my unique parenting journey with my daughter during her Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) -- an academic milestone in every Singaporean child's life -- but also as a sharing guide for other parents about to embark on this journey of love, sacrifices, learning and growth. My hope is that this book will shine a light on your path to helping and motivating your child in preparing for this national exam.
Even if the journey may be peppered with frustrations, anxieties and worries, never give up on encouraging and motivating your child. As parents we should be our child's first life mentor, so always have faith and believe in your child. Reaching the destination is the highlight but it's the journey you embark together that will seal the bond with your child and leave a legacy of love, trust and resilience.
So, enjoy and cherish the journey while you are on it.
