Résumé

One Too Many is a crime novel, a love story, and a psychological case study. Alex Hardy (not his real name) made his fortune and retired early by working diligently at that most quintessential of American enterprises-armed robbery. He has succeeded where others fail by relying on iron discipline and absolute self-control. Now he's dabbling in the arts, playing guitar and enjoying the laid back lifestyle of Austin, Texas.
The only problem is, he's bored out of his mind. So he goes back to work, just to give him something to do. Then he meets an ambitious filmmaker who will stop at nothing to get her crime movie made; and the sexy mob lawyer who may be spying on him claims to be carrying his child. When things spiral out of control, he learns that to push someone over the edge, sometimes it only takes one too many.
