Résumé

What do you do when an entire empire collapses overnight? You buy the debt, re-engineer the infrastructure, and build something better. In the gripping eighth installment of the series, the global landscape is being radically re-architected. The strategy is simple: turn hardware into cash, replace despair with self-reliance, and lay the groundwork for global peace. One negotiation at a time. Yet, away from the tense boardrooms and roaring jet engines, the quiet moments demand a heavier price.
When the memories of the future close in, even the man who remembers everything must find a way to face the nightmares of his own future.
PT Brainum is the pen name for a guy who lives in Oregon. He lived all over the world and stayed in 26 different homes by the time he was 21. Now he is happy to stay in one place and enjoy the Oregon coast when the sun is out. For PT Brainum, writing is more than a hobby. When the muse strikes, it is an unequivocal passion. He likes big words that twist the tongue, good and bad puns equally, and making up silly lyrics to songs.
PT Brainum is disabled and supports himself with his writing. Sometimes he is forced to write with a single finger using an Android tablet and a swipe keyboard when his hands give him trouble. Other times he uses a regular laptop. For the last 25 years he has had only 3 days without pain. It is an illness that prevents the use of almost all medications, but his spirit won't ever stop trying to make people laugh.
Especially with terrible, terrible jokes. PT Brainum always tries to write what he would enjoy reading. It takes way too many rereads to try to catch all those pesky typos. Every book is unique and every series is different. PT Brainum tries to write a unique take on every genre he enters. Themes often include meticulous calculation, math, and engineering. Where sci-fi is used, it is always as hard sci-fi as possible.
It pushes reality based on the possibilities of the physics of the universe.
