Résumé

Olive spends much of her days in the elaborate dream world that she has created, escaping the tedium of her boarding school. It is her private space where no one can bother her. Until one day when an astronaut named Lenny appears, crashing into the water in his space capsule. Olive's surprise deepens when she realizes that Lenny exists in real life, and a desperate search is underway to locate him following a failed reentry.
With the help of her new friend Charlie, Olive will have to sift through the clues quickly in order to find Lenny and save his life. And when the girls decide to spend Christmas at Olive's house, they find a key to the mysteries of her dream world in the most unexpected of places: right at home.
Not very keen on oral expression, French writer Véronique (Vero) Cazot had to learn very early on to use a pen, then a keyboard, to write all kinds of things: love letters, letters of motivation, trailers for television, sketches for a one-woman show, and screenplays of movies and series... She then expanded into scriptwriting for comics as well. Author of the humorous two-part series "Et toi, quand est-ce que tu t'y mets?, " she continued her journey with two graphic novels: "Les petites distances" and "Betty Boob, " which won numerous awards including the FNAC BD prize in 2018 and a selection at the Eisner Awards in 2019.
She was brought on by Dupuis in 2020 to give life to the series "Olive" (Europe Comics in English), illustrated by Lucy Mazel. French artist Lucy Mazel began her career with publisher Petit à Petit for the collection "Erotic Poems" and followed up with "The Butterfly Dancer" at Soleil, an illustrated book published in 2010. In 2011, she participated in the production of volume three of "The Little Prince" at Glénat in collaboration with the Parisian studio Elyum.
At Casterman she published "The Gods of Olympus" in 2012 in partnership with Béatrice Bottet, and in 2015 she illustrated the second volume of the series "Communardes!" written by Wilfrid Lupano. In 2017 she released "Edelweiss" at Glénat together with writer Cédric Mayen, and most recently she was brought on by Dupuis in 2020 for the series "Olive" (Europe Comics in English), alongside scriptwriter Véro Cazot.
