A woman trapped in a coastal Tunisian city watches the world slide into the apocalypse she has spent her entire life studying. Atalia wakes every morning at 5:15 with her heart racing, her Bible hidden on her phone, and prophecy notebooks spread across a desk no one in the house understands. While global war erupts around the Euphrates and nations begin choosing sides, she tracks every headline against Scripture with terrifying precision.
The signs are aligning too perfectly. The world calls it politics. She knows better. But the end of the world is harder to survive when you are already alone. Stranded in an interfaith marriage, cut off from her daughter in Canada, unable to afford a flight home, Atalia watches borders close one by one as the atmosphere inside her house grows heavier with every passing month. Her only comfort is a street cat named Loki Girl and the manuscript she begins writing as history darkens around her.
As war gives way to a fragile global peace and a new world system begins quietly taking shape, Atalia realizes the apocalypse is not arriving someday. It is already here.
