Résumé
Obama, the Pragmatic President is a play that dwells on the characterization of themembers of the Republic Party and the members of the Democratic Party. The inspiration to write the book was born after reading The Audacity of Hope and realized that President Obama is informed and transformed by the knowledge of political philosophy, political economy and social infrastructure. On understanding the love President Obama has for hisbeloved country, on understanding that he wants every one in the world to be at peace, and yet finding it difficult to let his seminal ideas to germinate, the play is thus regarded as a seesaw kind of rhetoric of the politicians and their hopes and fears segueing into a sort of melodrama.
Thus the Americans and the entire world standby, at akimbo, smiling, laughing and cachinnating like the roar of thunder. Consequently, they commence to twirl and twirl like a Pollyannaish pirouette until dizziness becomes their second nature, but happinessresulting from the cockney humor abides.
