Not Murder. Mavis Davis Mysteries, #4

If you stiff your attorney, you'd better flee. A Houston antiques dealer who owes her lawyer $60, 000 is on the run, or, at the very least, a missing person. P. I. Mavis Davis, who's good at finding people, agrees to track the dealer down for a percentage, happy that for once the case she's hired on is not murder. The search takes Mavis into the world of antiques in Galveston, Houston, and small-town LaGrange, Texas.
What Mavis discovers is much worse than the money-much, much worse. She finds a fresh corpse in coffin. Thinking the decedent's being located will lead to unearthing the money, the lawyer now wants Mavis to figure out who committed the murder. This means Mavis must, once more, help the cops flush out the murderer. If she's found out, Mavis risks the cops arresting her, again, for tampering in an active police investigation, (if not accusing her of the killing, since she's the one who found the dead body).
Can Mavis resolve the crime, find the perp, and root out the money? Or will she find herself in jail, or worse, become the next dead body in a box?
