Not According to Plan

It had taken eight long hard years for Doctor Kim Keegan to achieve her goals. Eight years where she had literally pushed everything aside before living her own life. Carter Brighton had waited and waited. Every time he proposed to Kim she had a reasonable excuse to turn him down. But he kept asking. Through the eight years she had driven him to study and qualify with a few degrees of his own. But the time had come for Kim to move back home.
To settle down and start seeing Carter again. They were childhood sweethearts. Even though they had been dating for eight years it was at a great distance and not common knowledge. The way they felt it didn't really matter. They were head over heels in love with each other. Kim's last year of her studies was grueling. It was her final year. And the year that she almost lost touch with Carter. But something happened to change everything.
