She is drawn into a web of corrupt police, corporate bosses and US Government officials linked to the trade of rare earth mineral Niobium. Used as a super alloy in aerospace, superconductive applications and next generation computers, it is classified as a critical raw material and the need to secure a supply is becoming imperative.
