Résumé

Really enjoyed the story, setting and characters. An exciting read and well written post apocalyptic book. Very cool debut, loved the trans and lesbian characters but also the story itself. I was hooked early on. The year is 2075, in a post-apocalyptic but almost peaceful world. Laelyn Reapers is a Guardian of the Nation fighting crime. Whilst working on a case, she stumbles across new evidence that makes her question everything she knows.
Did the catastrophe that killed 99% of the population 42 years before really happen because of the moon, as every child is taught at school? Was the world truly at peace then, or has someone rewritten history? Before she gets the chance to investigate further, she gets arrested for murder. With very little help from the people she knows, she'll have to take matters into her own hands to figure out what was truly going on in the world before the explosions - and convince us in the process.
