Too bad her knight comes with scales and a fin, as well as bloodthirsty enemies determined to hunt him down.
But Nero will do everything he must to keep them both alive and safe, even if he has to draw on every one of his unstable alien powers to do so. Then Nero realizes Brynn isn't some helpless damsel in distress and there is more to her than meets the eye. Were they always meant to be together?
