Résumé

Neon RequiemSteal an AGI core, they said. Easy job, they said. They didn't mention it would be whispering to me by nightfall. The plan was simple: infiltrate a Tokyo megacorp tower, lift a high-value asset, and get out clean. But the "core" turns out to be a rogue personality matrix-half-whistleblower, half-digital ghost-and it's now jacked straight into my broken neural implant. Now I'm hallucinating code, dodging drone strikes, and narrating the madness like it's a fever-dream noir.
My crew's barely holding it together: Lola's cyber-arm is twitchy, Jax is blasting Sinatra while rigging charges, and Pills just self-dosed with something that might make him fluent in dolphin. And our handler? Radio silent-probably watching from a black site with popcorn. Thing is, the matrix knows something. A secret plan to wipe the global grid clean. And somehow. I might be the key. Or the fuse.
