Need to Create Legal Awareness on Visually Disabled in Hubballi-Dharwad Area

In most countries and ages, the visually disabled have been considered with few outstanding exceptions, as objects of charity, of pity, of contempt, even of cruelty. They are subjected to this unequal treatment forgetting that they are also entitled to all rights and safeguards bestowed in the Constitution of India. A comprehensive coverage of legislative and administrative measures for persons with disabilities emphasising need for inclusive education as enshrined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is also covered in the light of visually disabled in Hubballi-Dharwad in the State of Karnataka.
