Near-Death Experience and New Beginnings

People who have a near-death experience claim it is unbelievable how their consciousness goes from the earthly realm to the heavenly realm. They are so close to death that they feel like their body is floating over them as they watch the doctors and nurses work on them. They say they go into another realm where they are met by angels, spirit guides, and family members who have already passed. They claim that when they are in that realm, it is peaceful, joyful, and loving.
Some say they enter a tunnel with a brilliant light shining through, and at the end is what they believe to be the image of Jesus. Others say they are in a vast area with endless green fields or miles of brilliantly colored flowers. Some hear soft music they are not familiar with. They say their life changed after the experience, and they are no longer afraid to die.
