Affekte, Symbole, Rituale, Interaktionsformen und Selbstbeschreibungen von AkteurInnen in Nahbeziehungen werden untersucht, um drei zentrale Fragen zu reflektieren: Was machen wir eigentlich, wenn wir Typen oder gar Typologien sozialer Beziehungen konstruieren? Welche Bedeutung haben Affekte als gemeinschaftsformende Elemente? Welche Praktiken und Semantiken bringen bestimmte >Politiken der Gemeinschaft< hervor?
This interdisciplinary volume approaches the semantics and practice of close relationships between friendship and patronage in their connection to a specific culture.
Affects, symbols, rituals, forms of interaction and actors' self-descriptions in close relationships are all examined in order to reflect three central questions: What are we actually doing when we construct types or even typologies of social relationships? What is the significance of affects as community-shaping elements? What practices and semantics bring about certain 'community policies'?
