Ayon Baxter, born in St. Mary, Jamaica, W. I, is a scientist at heart and has worked in the fields of Electronics and Telecommunications for over 25 years. He is a musician, songwriter, and vocalist, who enjoys many genres of music, especially Christian music. Reading and..., yes, you guessed right, writing is among his favourite things to do. He likes to write about his inspirations, thoughts, and motivations, and for many years, he'd had the dream of becoming an author.
He started out writing short stories, poems, and many articles on various religious topics, doctrines, and social issues. Eventually, in 2010, he embarked on writing his first edition, entitled "My World Or His?" which he published at WestBow Press in January of 2014. In 2012, he joined the Toastmasters International program to improve his public speaking and presentation skills. Ayon Baxter is a man of humble beginnings who grew up in a Christian home with his mother, stepfather, and the four youngest of his eight siblings.
His mother is his greatest hero. Her strong Christian convictions and values, hard work and sacrifice, firm discipline, and continual prayers for her children, have significantly shaped and influenced his life, and eventually led to his decision to walk the path of righteousness in Jesus Christ. God has used the rough experiences he has had to shape him according to His will, honour, and glory-and He is still polishing him-an ongoing process.
As he continues to fight with his fingers, pen and voice, he fights the good fight of faith, and encourages others to unite with him, in the army of Jesus Christ, to win battles over sin by God's grace through the righteousness of Christ. He hopes that as you journey through this edition, you will be drawn into a closer relationship with God, experiencing more and more of Him through Jesus Christ-Lord over all-and Saviour of all humanity.
