Smriti Halls is an award-winning, critically acclaimed children's author whose books have been published in more than 40 languages. South Indian by birth, British by nationality and London-loving by heart, Smriti lives near Richmond Park with her husband and their three sons, reading, writing and eating iced buns. Her books include I'm Sticking With You, Rain Before Rainbows and Best of All.
Chloe Savage was born and raised in Stevenage.
She has a First Class BA Honours in TV and Film Set Design from Cardiff and an MA in Children's Book Illustration from The Cambridge School of Art. She has worked for a number of years in Opera, Film and Television. While doodling on call sheets Chloe found her way to her great love of illustration and storytelling. Chloe is a great lover of food and the seaside, she currently lives in Hitchin with her husband and has never been happier.
The Search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish won the Waterstones Prize in 2024. Her collaborations include My Name is Moon, written by Smriti Halls.
