I spent an entire year in Japan away from my family, and it wasn't enjoyable. However, I was then able to come home for 60 days without working. Now, that was the time of my life. You see, I have been preparing for retirement for the last two years, and I now got a glimpse of the future. My wife and I both had passive income coming in from various sources. I was able to work on my books and website and still have plenty of time for my wife and kids.
We traveled around looking at homes and other investment ideas. Long story short, I cannot wait until retirement. Many people think they will be bored during retirement, but I am the exact opposite. I will have more things to do than ever before. So now, I need to get back to work and build up my passive income streams. These include my dividends, royalties, automated business, cryptocurrencies, and rents.
I have 5-8 years before retirement, so let the games begin!
