Murder in Blue Lake. A Jazz and Slade Mystery

In the sleepy town of Blue Lake, murders don't happen-until Martha Zimmerman's body turns up. Jazz has the kind of face strangers trust, which makes her good at two things: blending in as a seemingly normal Earth resident and extracting information that helps solve crimes. When Detective Slade reluctantly brings her into Blue Lake's first murder case, neither the town nor Slade himself realizes they've just invited an alien to the investigation.
As the evidence points to something beyond typical human violence, Jazz faces an impossible choice-reveal her extraterrestrial origins to catch the killer, or protect her carefully constructed life on Earth. Either way, nothing in Blue Lake will ever be the same again.
