In my early youth I developed a great interest for distant countries and foreign languages.
I have traveled to all continents and, in 1991, I completed my professional training as a translator / interpreter (state-certified in English and Spanish).
As a native of Munich, I am very proud of my hometown with its fascinating and varied history. For this reason, I successfully obtained my certificate as ´Official Tour Guide for the City of Munich´ in German, English and Spanish in 2003.
Since then, I have continued to educate myself and have enthusiastically guided numerous individual travelers and groups from all over the world through Munich´s Old Town and accompanied them on city bus tours and royal palace tours.
My solid knowledge of the city's history and my experience with what interested visitors most have inspired me to write this book.
Munich´s History and Stories. Your self-guided walking tour through historic Old Town

Résumé
Are you planning a visit to Munich? Then I suggest you join me on a walking tour to explore the highlights of Munich's Old Town and learn historical and fun facts.
This book allows you to walk the recommended route at your own pace in around two hours, taking breaks for photos or a coffee, if you like.
The best place to start is Marienplatz, the heart and center of Munich, and let the magic of the ´secret capital´ work its magic on you as you stroll along well-known and not so well-known paths, alleys and squares.
Also available in German and soon in Spanish.
