Ben can't stop Ian from Class Five taking his things. But when he's given Mr Monkey to look after, Ben finds out that Mr Monkey knows lots of clever tricks to cure Ian of being so mean...

Linda Chapman is the million-copy selling author of more than 250 books including such series as My Secret Unicorn, Star Friends and Stardust as well as writing for the Rainbow Magic and Heartland series and being co-author of the New York Times best-selling series, Unicorn Academy, along with close friend, Julie Sykes. The biggest compliment Linda can have is for a child to tell her they became a reader after reading one of her books.
She lives in Leicestershire with her husband, three children, two dogs and a pony. Her website is www.lindachapmanauthor.co.uk Sam Hearn started illustrating children's books around 2003, when he drew pictures for Violet and the Mean and Rotten Pirates, written by Richard Hamilton. More recent titles include Hero and the Sinking Ships by Richard Hamilton, the Charlie series by Hilary Mckay, and Meerkat Madness by Ian Whybrow.
Sam lives in West London and works with a bunch of creative types in a rickety old studio near the river Thames.
