Résumé

ALL THE OLD HOUSES on the street had the same problems. But it was the people who lived in them that were haunted. SCOTT KEYES returns to his hometown of Sydenham after twenty years away eager to explore the darkness that surrounds his forgotten childhood. His adoptive parents moved him away for his own good, but were never able to completely explain the circumstances surrounding their departure or the secrets that have followed him since.
Now that they are dead and buried, any questions he has will go unanswered. Until he gets to Sydenham. A mysterious force has haunted his absence, blindly seeking a release from its long torment by stalking those responsible for its pain. Murder, loss and betrayal manifest in a sleepless shadow that hungers for revenge. And no one sees it coming. As Keyes delves into his past, he unlocks a mystery steeped in black magic and written in blood.
He'll be lured into the halls of a cursed old home where something is waiting and watching for MOTHER'S BOY.
G. Wells Taylor is currently writing book seven in the Wildclown Mysteries series in preparation for a new World of Change trilogy. Taylor was born in Oakville, Ontario, Canada in 1962, but spent most of his early life north of there in Owen Sound where he went on to study Design Arts at a local college. He later traveled to North Bay, Ontario to complete Canadore College's Journalism program before receiving a degree in English from Nipissing University.
Taylor worked as a freelance writer for small market newspapers and later wrote, designed and edited for several Canadian niche magazines. He joined the digital publishing revolution early with an eBook version of his first novel When Graveyards Yawn that has been available online since 2000. Taylor published and edited the Wildclown Chronicle e-zine from 2001-2003 that showcased his novels, book trailer animations and illustrations, short story writing and book reviews alongside titles from other up-and-coming horror, fantasy and science fiction writers.
Still based in Canada, Taylor continues with his publishing plans that include additions to his Vampires of the Kind books, the Wildclown Mysteries, and sequels to the popular Variant Effect series.
