Résumé

Clayton is a man obsessed with "Progress". At forty-eight, he is haunted by the legacy of his forefathers. Driven by a desperate need to outlast time itself, Clayton tracks down Chaney, a reclusive shopkeeper who guards a terrifying family heirloom: a cursed bronze arrowhead capable of granting eternal life.  But immortality is a predator's game. Chaney, a man physically burdened by the "primal" curse of his own bloodline, warns that the arrowhead offers life without youth or sustenance.
To bypass the madness that turned Chaney's ancestors into monsters, Clayton must hunt a final, near-mythical ingredient: the blood of a vampire. But. things are never that easy, are they? Moonlight Yellow is a story about when differing motivations intersect and the catastrophic consequences it can cause for the world around them. Clayton, a man driven to ensure that the work and sacrifices of his father, grandfather and ancestors before him don't go unappreciated. Annabelle and Jonathan, the last surviving remnants of a civilization long lost to time, hoping to spare anyone they cross from having to endure the same fate. Bernie, the great grandson of a former slave seeking to prevent the mistakes of the past from repeating themselves. Andersen, a woman haunted by past events and driven by them not to atone, but to answer for her own transgressions. Chaney, a victim of his ancestor's grievous crimes, answering for the the transgressions many years later. And Theodore Christens, a man willing to cross any line or boundary if it prolongs the little time he has left in this world.
