While the majority of them are eventually found, there is a large percentage of those who have been gone for years. The police extended their investigations as much as they could, and they reached the very end because there was no new information. Finally, those cases simply turn cold.

The Daniels family lived through all of this in the summer of 2013 when their daughter Tiffany went missing one afternoon.
