In "Mind's Edge, " the aftermath of an accidental nuclear war leaves parts of the world devastated, with New England cut off from the rest of the United States due to nuclear contamination. In Los Angeles, Edge is sent to the nuclear states to investigate a series of mysterious murders targeting corporate heads. These killings are carried out by infected individuals known as 'radios, ' who possess unique, unworldly powers and unleash destructive thoughts that seize the minds of their victims. Edge, a product of both the radioactive sector and the outside world, navigates the dangerous divide between the 'radios' and the 'Worlders.' Raised by a Radio mother and a worlder father, Edge possesses unique connections and insights into both worlds.
However, gaining information from the oppressed radios proves challenging, as their deep-seated animosity towards the worlders obstructs any cooperation. Despite the risks, Edge delves deeper into the heart of the nuclear states, relying on his old connections and street smarts to uncover the truth. As he gets closer to the source of the corporate killer, Edge finds himself hunted by a militia of humans from the clean sector armed with advanced weapons beyond the sparse resources of the isolated sector.
