The accumulation of plastics in coastal area is continuously increasing. We produce more and more amounts of garbage daily. Single use plastics or disposable plastics are accumulated in the marine environments. Single use plastics are effects our marine ecosystems. Single use plastics particles are broken down to produce smaller and smaller plastics particles. These small sized particles are called microplastics.
The first chapter gives how monomers from polymers, definition, classification, types, and application of plastics. The first chapter also discusses history and discovery of plastics. The second chapter gives causes and effects of plastics pollution. The third chapter describes how microplastics, nurdles, are effects our ocean. The fourth chapter gives plaastics and its health effects. The fifth and sixth chapter gives microplastics sampling and microplastics identification respectively.
The seventh chapter describes objectives of microplastics sampling. The eight chapter describes effects of single use plastics and some plastics banning country. The ninth chapter gives some ocean organizations and ocean institutes.
