Michael's Eyes is the fictional account of the life of Michael Barone. In the story Michael was born with an ability that no other human has been known to possess. As Michael grows up in the small Texas town of Anson, Texas, his life and his adventures are shaped by the secret ability to see in the dark. The story in Part One leads him through adventures of the discovery of ancient gold and confrontations with danger.
In Part Two Michael Barone serves in the Vietnam War, initially as a Green Beret, followed by clandestine patrols in Cambodia. In Part Three, Michael returns to Anson, Texas and uses his secret ability of night vision and the riches that he has accumulated to build his life. The story is a thriller in which most readers easily become enraptured, as if they were a part of the story.
